Alyson Ward

A native of Utah and a Cache Valley resident for more than 26 years, Alyson has explored nearly every corner of the state but has chosen again and again to live in Cache Valley. Alyson resides in Logan with her husband and fish “Tina” and has two grown daughters. She likes to explore the mountains on foot, wheel, and skis as much as possible and finds trail work cathartic. Alyson has a master's degree in public health and is currently earning her PhD, she works at USU at a center that serves newborn hearing screening programs across the country.

Abigail Sisneros-Kidd

Is a trained recreation ecologist with a PhD in Environment & Society from USU. She has worked on trails in four states and is committed to social justice in outdoor recreation spaces, educational settings and in research. When she’s not on campus, you can find her working or playing outside—either tending to the garden and backyard chickens or skiing, biking, hiking, or running, often with her daughter, husband, and pup in tow!

David Wallace

Dave Wallace has been hiking and backpacking around the west for many years. He mostly backpacked in the Uinta and Wind River mountains and Glacier National Park, but also the Paria, Sawtooths, and Bighorns. He has hiked extensively in northern Utah; he organizes a local hiking group (see cachehikers.org) and contributes to hiking guidebooks. He worked with the Logan Ranger District to help build trails, he has “adopted” several others, and he works to control invasive trail weeds. Dave was a backcountry skier and he still cross-country skis and showshoes. As an amateur botanist, he serves in Utah Native Plant Society leadership.

Elli Lundskog

Elli is a Cache Valley native who went away for college and eventually found her way back to beautiful Logan with her little family. With a background in nursing, she is passioniate about active lifestyles. As an avid trail user, she loves exploring our local trails on bike and foot. Elli so excited to be a part of CTA. She looks forward to continuing to maintain, promote, and grow outdoor recreation in our valley.

Neil Etherington

Neil is a Cache Valley native, born and raised.  He lives in Cache Valley with his wife and 3 boys.  His passion for exploring the outdoors started at a very young age.   His primary mode of exploration has evolved to mountain biking, but he continues to hike, hunt, fish, etc, and is trying to instill that same passion into his children.  Neil is a mechanical engineer that is currently working in the medical device industry.
